All former students, staff, parents, members and supporters of our school community are welcome to attend and we look forward to seeing you for what should be a very enjoyable gathering.

At the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, we will be celebrating 40 years of education at Birchwood Community High School. 

Founded in 1985, Birchwood has grown from 180 pupils and 14 members of staff to its current intake of 739 students. 

Back then, the school opened its doors with Sir John Lewis was the Headteacher of the school.
