We have fantastic feedback to celebrate and build upon from our recent parent and carer survey

Thank you to everyone who replied to our latest parent/carer survey, we were overwhelmed by the gratitude, thanks and positive comments that you all left. A summary of the responses are below:

  • 97% agreed or strongly agreed that their child is happy at our school.
  • 98% agreed or strongly agreed that we have high expectations of their child.
  • 98% agreed or strongly agreed that we make sure our students are well-behaved.
  • 97% agreed or strongly agreed that their child received strong teaching at our school.
  • 96% agreed or strongly agreed that their child does well at our school.
  • 95% agreed or strongly agreed that the school has communicated well during lockdown.
  • 96% agreed or strongly agreed that they were happy with the virtual curriculum and live lessons provided by the school.

The main areas of strength that we identified from the survey are:

  • That our parents and carers are very grateful to our staff for all that we have done during the lockdown period and think we could not have done any more for them and their child.
  • That our parents and carers view behaviour as very good at the school and that we have high expectations of our students.
  • Regular communication has been very good during lockdown through form tutors, the Polaris team, social media and the headteacher weekly letters.
  • Live lessons have really helped with engagement and enjoyment during this lockdown.
