Our Yr11 students are celebrating some great GCSE results despite challenging times.

Our Year 11 student celebrate their  well earned succes !

We are incredibly proud of all our year 11 students today. They have come through one of the strangest and most challenging final years at secondary school in our country’s recent history, and they have done so with grace and dignity. They have stayed focused on preparing for next year, securing places and positions for the next stage of their journey even when there was so much uncertainty and chaos around their results process.

The excellent results that they have received today are very well-deserved, every single one of them deserves the grades that they have received.

I am also extremely proud of all the staff at school who have supported our year 11 students to get to this point, not just through lockdown and recent months, but also through the last five years that they have been a student here at Birchwood. We are very lucky to have such a dedicated body of staff who work tirelessly for our children.
